About Our Team

MICHAEL ALLEN: I’m primarily a commercial photographer now, working for some of the biggest names in the world. I love photographing people and I love photographing destination weddings. With over 20 years commercial photography & production experience. I continually strive to think “out of the box” and deliver exceptional photos for each of my clients. A member of WPPI and PPA, my vision for my clients is to offer the very best in photography. We’ve won Accolade of Excellence Awards from WPPI, and we are very honored to have won many other awards. I also work on professional movie sets, shot several indie films and documentaries. We have work that has been featured in publications across the globe, and we’re currently the editorial photographer for Southern Bride Magazine. I’ve got a beautiful wife and kids who all keep me smiling. Did I mention that I love working with people? We love to travel for destination weddings, and our most recent destination wedding was in Puerto Vallarta Mexico for an exclusive shoot with Colin Cowie Weddings at Hard Rock Resorts.

JANICE ALLEN: Our second photographer is Janice Allen, thats right, Michael’s beautiful wife. Janice and Michael have been married going on 18 years, and has a wonderful talent as an artist and photographer. She’s worked along side Michael on hundreds projects, from commercial shoots, to editorial magazine shoots. Her talents include being a world renown hairstylist, owning and running one of the largest salons in the south, she’s won many awards for her incredible skills. She loves working hard, and she bring the best out in people. They got 3 amazing children, and 2 wonderful dogs. Their favorite locations usually have a beach scene involved. She’s also a talented makeup artist. (Back in the day, Janice was the exclusive hairstylist {and beard trimmer} for ZZ Top, how fun was that!). She’s got amazing people skills, no wonder running a big salon and handling her huge client base, she’s just about as amazing a person as you can imagine!

TRACY WELCH: Our associate photographer is Tracy Welch. Tracy has an amazing personality and rarely meets a stranger. She has been working with us since 2010, and has a wonderful talent as a professional photographer. She recently helped us coordinate & shoot a major photographers workshop in Seaside Florida, and is mastering her skills as a photographer and cinematographer. Her recent travels took her to Africa for a missions trip, where she captured beautiful images of the people of the land, as well as shooting on her first Safari. She recently landed one of her editorial photographs on the cover of Southern Bride Magazine, as well as several photographs in the fashion spread. She shoots weddings and other projects, and is available for independent assignments as well.
