Above The Clouds Colorado. Our most recent wedding was photographed in a place called "Above the Clouds" in Evergreen Colorado. Elise and Tony called me almost a year ago to see if there was any way possible that I could photograph their wedding in Colorado. I instantly said yes (checking my google calendar at the same time to make sure I was available). They also wanted my wife Janice to be their hairstylist for their big event. They found this amazing mansion sitting on the tip top of one of the highest mountains in Colorado, I kid you not, we literally were perched over a 500 foot deep ravine hanging over the cliffs. An 8000 sq feet home with scenic overlooks, indoor waterfalls, a waterfall hot tub, room to sleep 16 guests, a full game room and a giant movie theatre. Their ceremony site was on a massive deck perched over the mountainside with a view for miles and miles. The family flew us in, had a limo pick us up from the airport, and we stayed on site for the entire week. Every day was planned with activities, we carried our cameras with us and captured all the highlights. If you have never been to Evergreen in the summer, the small town below the mountain was full of shops, a beautiful lake, a river, and scenic views that were jaw dropping. For the ceremony, they hired a private chef to prepare appetizers, dinner, and desserts. They had a musician who performed a private concert, florist delivery, a Colorado ordained minister and more.
