The new Winter/Spring Issue includes a beautiful fashion spread shot in Charleston SC. Here is the new video featuring footage shot during the photo shoot. The fashion shoot featuring stunning new dress designs from Sareh Nouri, Rembo Styling, Emmaline Bridal, Ian Stuart, Victor Harper, and more. Mens designs by Calvin Klein. Southern Bride Magazine went on location in Charleston South Carolina on Pawleys Island. The Team included photographer Michael Allen and his wife Janice Allen as the hairstylist, along with the Southern Bride team. Michael styled the photography with a natural vintage look of the low country marshes. Capturing strong images and blown highlights, Michael worked with the natural surroundings to shoot this behind the scenes inspirational film. Southern Weddings - Memphis Soul - Downtown Arts District

Here's our new reel {NIGHT & DAY} showing a behind the scenes look at our editorial fashion shoot for Southern Bride Magazine. Shot on location in Memphis, Tennessee, the flavor of the shoot was totally rad and totally Memphis. The shoot was one of the most diverse we've done in a while, running the gammit of blown out lovy dovy soft images, to dramatic edgy lighting styles, to commercial studio looks, with indoor and outdoor scenes. The magazine editors wanted to capture the flavor of Memphis and the urban/modern style that the downtown arts district offers. On the edge of world famous Beale Street, the South Main Arts District is one of the hottest new areas (rebirthed) that thousands flock to every weekend. For this video reel, we wanted to have a flavor of Memphis music, but with a twist of modern and classic at the same time. Seaside Florida { Southern Bride Magazine } Memphis Wedding Photographers - Film & Video Production A behind the scenes look at our recent photo shoot and photographers workshop for Southern Bride Magazine. Our team produced the shoot in association with the editors of Southern Bride. The "Photographers Dream Challenge" was a special photography bootcamp challenging the participants to push the creative skills, try new techniques and follow the lead of photographers Michael Allen, and guest photographer Joe DeSciose. The location: Seaside Florida, one of the Top 12 Destinations in the World. Our recent "Photographers Dream" workshop took place in one of the top 12 destinations in the world, Seaside Florida. Our team hosted a 3 day hands on photographers bootcamp, where participants worked along side photographer Michael Allen, shooting for Southern Bride Magazine. The photographers "DREAM CHALLENGE" was to shoot for the magazines feature story, a bridal fashion shoot featuring the latest fashions in the wedding world. Our sponsor, www.lensrentals.com, provided some giveaways for the participants, and rented extra gear to the team. The images shot in Seaside became cover shots for the summer and fall 2011 issues Southern Bride, along with dozens of editorial photos for the fashion spread, and several other feature articles.

Romantic, edgy, creative films are Michael's specialty. Most of Michael's wedding couples give him total creative freedom to create their own personal short film of their wedding day.
